I am trying to get a table topper done for Xmas, using metallic
thread. Right now I,m ready to ditch the whole project. My thread
keeps breaking. I will get through a few rows, (I,m using lines and a
walking foot) and it breaks. I have tried a 14, 16, metallic, and topstitch
needles, per info I got on You tube. I lowered the tension and am not
sewing too fast. I don't want to rip the stitches that I have done so far
because I think it is going to look great, BUT, at this rate of starting and
stoping, I won't be done by next Christmas. Oh and I forgot to mention,
I,m using Superior thread, and putting the thread in a pail to get it straight.
Is there anything more I can try?
I will be grateful for any advice that I have not tried.
