Some people consider it to be a blanket if it only has 2 layers.

If you did a matrix pattern across a solid (cheater) top & then added the borders, I did something similar & it sold for $50. It was a cotton top with border, matrix quilting, W&N batting & flannel back.

Unfortunately, there is a flood of these types of quilts at craft shows & markets. I realized I actually make less money per hour making the "simple" quilts than making really elaborate ones that only appeal to a narrow market, but if your main goal is to make back what you spent & get a tiny stipend for your time, the good news is that these quilts are not terribly time consuming (1 week vs. the 1-2 months I spend on quilts with 10,000+ hand appliqued stitches and hand quilting on top of that). I sincerely hope you can get more for it. Quilters deserve far more than most people are willing to pay.
