Not sure what you are looking for. I've never gotten anything other than the print of the completed block. Usually the embroidery file will stitch a placement line, you place the fabric then it stiches in place. You trim close to the stitched line and then it does the decorative stitching. The blocks you printed out should give you a good idea of the size of the patches needed. I would try making a sample block with scraps and see how it goes.
