someone was telling me the other day that the latest fad was using metal or exposed zipppers as opposed to hidden zippers in totes & pouches. she was so surprised and worried about how to use them. just like these pretty lace zips. looking at these two tutes, which are excellent and well illustrated, i am reminded again that a lot of quilters today weren't home sewers who took up quilting after the clothes making for the kids was done
