I love my 1/4 inch foot with the guide to bump the fabric against. I have a Janome and the foot is made for the machine. I just have to be careful not to sew so quickly that the fabric moves one way or the other and my 1/4 inch is shot. But that would happen with any foot I used for 1/4 inch because I think I sew too fast for my hands. LOL. But I learned to quilt using that foot and I use it all the time.
