This pattern appeared in Quiltmaker magazine, January/February '06. I've had it folded open to that page, which is on my bucket list. So many patterns, so little time. In the magazine, measurement for the contrasting pieces were 3 1/2" x 9 1/2", and they were sewn together with a 45 degree diagonal seam, trim the seam to 1/4" as you would do as if joining binding strips, press to the dark. This made a 3 1/2" x 15 l/2" 'block'. These were then placed side by side, end to end, etc., by pleasing colors, and sewn to each other, making larger 'blocks' or sections. This may nudge me into tackling my scraps real soon.
