I would think that if your LQS intends to continue to selling Accuquilt items, they will not be holding an unauthorized sale. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

Meanwhile, I would recommend checking the Accuquilt.com website periodically, as they often have sales. The Studio cutter, for example, was recently on sale for $398 for 3 days. They also had 50% off on Studio dies (ends today). If you create an account with the website, you will receive email notification of their sales. Here is a link to where you can create an account:

Meanwhile, there is no reason to question an LQS sale. As quiltstringz suggested, simply call the LQS and ask them before you make the trip. I'm sure that Accuquilt authorizes sales among their dealerships.
