Binding is the only hand work I do on a quilt. I will knot the thread, run it in the batting & then take 2-3 sm. stitches in the seam allowance. At the end of my thread I do a few stitches, travel about 1/2" & do a few more stitches, knot & clip thread. Written out it seems a long process but it really goes fast & my thread ends have never popped out.
