Channel quilted 1/2" apart and cut the top three panel layers. Since the panel was narrow, I added the camo borders after I cut, but before I washed it. Quilted the borders and then bound it. Washed it numerous times to fluff. It creates a kind of softened picture of the original panel. Mine was all flannel. Is this how you stacked your poppy?

Yes, exactly. I used five different complimentary Fabric's. You are looking at the top. The back was a complimentary stripe.
