I have about 6---I like the new ones with the "eraser" ends for collecting the threads, but personally I usually reach for one of my cheapo Dritz with the blue handle that are about 6" long--handle large enough to hold comfortable, the handle is flat so it's not rolling away, and I most like a flat blade that slips under that stitch OR that I can flip over with the red ball to the back of the fabric and do a quick "rip". they are getting a little dull so I'll splurge soon for 2-3 new ones since rather cheap to replace. And I do like that Wahl electic seam ripper when I have a lot of long seams to "unsew".
