A friend had me locate a Singer 1652 for her. Found one on e-bay and it arrived Saturday. The machine was well packed, maybe professionally, and was ready to sew. The machine was made in Brazil in the early 80's. It had a sample swatch on very heavy material showing that it can handle thick fabric. Machine was in excellent condition showing a recent servicing.
My question is one, does anyone have/use one and two, how do you adjust the pressure on the foot? This machine is noisy compared to others in my collection, is that normal. Any info will be appreciated.
