I have several Brothers, not this one, and love them, so user friendly
You will find the Brother instruction book very easy to understand, as is the machine. When hubby is putting those designs onto the cd, remember, you can only stitch out 4" (100ml) designs, so anything larger can't be used. Also most cd's have multi-formated designs for many machines, so you will only need one - I think all Brothers use PES, some maybe PEC? not sure.
You will really benefit from going to some classes or joining a group in your local area.
