Good guess. Names are: "Fair Play", "Quarter Turn" published in Woman's World 1907, "The Pig Pen" publ.Kansas City Star 1939, and "Wedding Ring" 1927 in Dakota Farmer. Was shown as a two color block with two quarters done in black with white arcs and the other two quarters do in white with black arcs. Then set together like a four patch.

Looks like your quilter chose to do all the quarter blocks alike. Makes me wonder if it might have been intended as a wedding quilt. You are lucky to have it, whatever its story.
