Well here's another spin. Someone posts. They get a lot of responses. Then they post again that the issue is resolved. And 20 more posts with more suggestions. When there is a post with lots of responses I scroll down the side to see if the original poster updated. I like to think I haven't done this but can't guarantee!!
Those are usually followed by posts asking if the OP tried such-and-such, even though the OP stated in the first post, that such-and-such was tried and didn't work.
