I think RavenLunaStitch is on the right track. Make sure your FW is either in its original box or some other small carrier that will fit under the seat in front of you. Know that it will need to lay on its side so will need to be well packed. Give yourself lots of time to go thru the security area because I am sure it will be well inspected so you will have to unpack and repack it. If you put it in a carry-on size suitcase, make sure it is well padded but know they will ask you to remove it. Maybe you will want to pay the extra money to board early so you will have no trouble with room overhead.

My DH & DD like to attend the Mountain West Basketball Tournament in March, I go and spend the entire time sewing. Last year a friend of mine joined me and we sewed from 9 am to midnight 4 straight days. We stopped for lunch and then went to visit a LQS, then returned to sew again until dinner, which was at the casino next door. We stay in a timeshare which is a candy style so we have a full kitchen to use. It was so much fun! Wish I could come sew with you - it is so much fun to sew with a friend. Have fun!!!
