for those wondering - I talked my sister into selling me her stash. She worked at a quilt/fabric shop back in the 70's and after as time when on, she pretty much stopped sewing years and years ago. I rough measured as I was washing it all and ended up with 305 yards. We've not settled on a price yet, and it will include a couple of finished quilts using some of her favorites.

She and I have similar tastes in colors, so I knew I would be happy with it. Though after looking at the pile and what I've already got - I think I'm pushing 800-1,000 yards on hand. Good thing I make 2-3 quilts a month.

As to the buttonhole cutter, I doubt it was an accessory for the machine, but I've not gone through the manual to know for sure. Even though there is the Buttonhole attachment, the machine can make buttonholes without it. I've seen that type of cutter before in other collections of misc sewing tools/supplies. It is very neat!
