The first picture (the Singer) looks a lot like the one my mom had if my memory serves me correctly. Sewed a lot on that machine. When my mom passed, I let my grand daughter have it. That's been about 12 years ago and I doubt if she has even opened the lid on the cabinet. No one in my entire family sews but me (well, I did give my youngest daughter my Janome 350e and she's into that now and is the most crafty one of the family) Thanks for sharing.
