I have flaunted my Anker before, it was in fact the reason I joined this forum. Very good to see this great machine spreading out.

Mine lacks some of the coolest features - the bonnet top and the outboard stuff - wicked. The cam drive is onboard mine. It's still a great machine, like a cross between the stern, serious Pfaff 360 and the ultra smooth, suave Necchi Supernova. Some comments I have read claim that the build quality exceeds Pfaff's.

I have one issue with mine, though. There is a little slack in the bushing that connects the ZZ bar to the needle bar. I can move the bushing maybe 1/2 mm up and down the needle bar, and when I rev up, it starts clacking. Do you mind checking yours and see how tight it is - is there any play at all, any noise? I don't feel confident enough to try to fix it, feel free to give advice.

What serial number is yours? Mine is 1859664.

Lastly, at least for now: I'd love a report on the Greist buttonholer, and how it teams up with the Anker.

Stay addicted
