Finished my first applique quilt!
I love this dove in front of a Star of David... I hope to raffle this quilt to support my daughter who is a medical missionary and travelling to Burma this summer. I was actually quite surprised to learn that I like applique so much... it always seemed so fussy and tedious, but I found it quite enjoyable!
Also, I used a frixion pen and had a little bit of ghosting on my red background. I was considering taking an extra fine tip red sharpie marker and trying to cover the ghost lines. Any other suggestions?
