You cut your fabric the size of the paper. Place fabrics together and place the paper on top. Sew with a smaller stitch size - I use 1.5 so your paper will tear away easily. (I use newsprint. I got it in reams at http://www.dickblick.com/products/bl...ose-newsprint/. ) You can also use kids Scribble Pads from the $1.00 store. You stitch on the dotted lines, then cut on the solid lines. Then tear off the paper.
