Last year was my first MQ and it was also my first jump back into quilting. Mine is still a flimsy also, but I had a lot of fun! I have my fabric for this year but was wondering about the neutrals. I haven't chosen mine yet, I'm hoping I can use some of my precut strips, but won't know until it starts. Anyone else holding off on choosing fabric to use scraps?
I've been reading thru this board, having a great time with it. I find I want to comment on things, but am so far back no one would even know what I was talking about. But this statement I have to ask. Just remember no question is a dumb question unless you don't ask it. Many of you refer to a "flimsy" what the heck is that? One not quilted or something maybe? I have loved those illusion quilts and peoples choice of fabric for the new mystery. I agree with so many of the statements made, too numerous to mention now. I can't wait to see the steps as they go along. I know in watching a doing some of Judy's mystery train rides that when some people showed their color selections, I was horrified, but the finished project was amazing. Kudo's to the brave that attempt, and it definitely is something to "just have fun" with. Now.....what's a flimsy, please.
