My late mother had a Singer Golden Touch'n'Sew...it was a gift to her from my dad. He wanted her to have the top-of-the-line model as she did a lot of sewing for us. When I learned to sew, I did my own share of sewing on that same machine. When she passed away, I inherited that machine and everything in the cabinet; my sibling thought since I had the most memories of it, I should have it. Right now it is upstairs, waiting for me to go to work on some projects. Patsy, once you spend some time with your gift, I'm sure you will enjoy it very much. Oh, I have also seen bobbins for these machines in Walmart. I like the fact that you can wind them right in the machine!
