Yes, very cute but I am with equiltsRfun. I never put buttons on things for babies. Too much chance of one coming loose (either by accident or the child teething) and becoming a choking hazard.
Yes, I was thinking of that too but there were buttons on the one my son made abt 20 odd years ago as a school project and his son has used it so much it's nearly fallen apart, he's 12 now and never a button came off it
