Not only were the poor things headless, they were deformed, with curved bottoms, and not a single one was 4 1/2". I adjusted seam allowance and used a lighter hand with the iron on the second 20, and they were much improved -- the right length, but still somewhat wonky at the top and bottom. By the time I get to the last 20, I should have it down, lol.
Glad to her I'm not the only one who had issues with these. I have 2 more sets to go although I did make 4 extra sets with a tourquiose blue in case I can pop them in. Also cut some blue squares to pop in with the black if it works. Won't know until we are further along. Did cut strips for the 4 patches this morning before I took my mother Xmas shopping.
