I use a plastic Mentos gum container - it's just the right height and has a nice secure snap open-closed hinged lid. I peeled off the label and wrote "broken needles" on it in Sharpie. It's bright red so easy to find!
It's my favorite gum and I save the containers, they're handy for all sorts of things.
