You get the book and I don't think you get that when you download the program. Stay away from EQ6. I have been told by others on this board it has a lot of problems. I jumped from EQ5 to EQ7. If I am quilting, I have used EQ7 to resize or some changes with the project I am working on.
I didn't know that there were problems with EQ6. I have it. Since I didn't have 5 and haven't yet gotten 7 (am waiting on 8, probably, to upgrade)....I am not having issues with 6.
My reason for telling you not to get 6 is that it is older software. The next release may not support the things you are doing. Why would you buy an old program when 7 is already 1-2 years old as well? So, get 7 - and I'm not recommending that because I have issues with 6. I don't.
