Hi Sandra, I like to do as little trimming as possible (none!) so I cut my pieces to the exact size called for, then test sew one pair/set. If the size isn't perfect, I increase or decrease my seam allowance width. Can't go wrong with that!
Kalama, you are so quick! I can see what an ort jar is (for scraps) but why "ort"? What's "ort"? An acronym for something? Your blocks are so pretty.
