Hi, the 101-3-,4 are pretty much the same I have the 101-4 in a cabinet the wicking part needs fresh oil , the wicks can be cleaned with paint thinner, and grease the gears I use the white gear grease high temp .. my machine s knee part was broken took that out , put a foot pedal on it and it works fine, others complan that it runs slow mine runs as fast as my singer 15 .
