Here's a photo of the Sari. The blue is much more brilliant than the photo. It's 42" wide, and 5+ yards. The zari metallic weaving is about 16" wide on the end and extends the entire length on the left. There's an additional 3/4 yard section of plain blue at the far end of the piece that is used to make or trim the blouse (did some online research) so I can use this piece to experiment a bit before cutting into the main portion.

As for today's salvation army adventure, I got a Viking Interlude machine for $20. Only 1 foot, but I bought an entire set last summer at a garage sale for $5. The sold units on ebay are around $250. Wooo Hooo!!!
