First, let me thank ALL of you for the wonderful tips and tricks that I have gotten through the years that I have started my day with the Quilting Board! I rarely "jump in" but spend each and every morning with all of the great folks here. I am always amazed at the willingness to share that is so very evident here.
We are going to be spending nine weeks at MD Anderson while my husband undergoes proton therapy. I had never even been there until we went for the initial appt. in October. Being from NC, I am certainly not familiar with the area, but would like to visit some quilt shops while there. Hopefully, there is someone on the board who could give me some references (and maybe directions
) to shops that would be worth visiting that would be fairly close to where we will be.
