Oh, I understand now! That's like I did witht he very first quilt I ever made, except I sandwiched the batting in like Lisa recommends. My Mother had made beautiful star blocks then got macular degeneration and couldn't see well enough to finish it and I'd never quilted before, I was a bundle of nerves, let me tell you! After I got it turned, I discovered that the back was a little bigger than the front so I just pulled it taut, and sewed so it looked like it had a border. It turned out really well!
