Check out the pictures on this site for my Beatrix Potter baby quilt...I used pinwheels as alternating blocks, and my LAQ used a stippling pattern in the white sections of the pinwheels, leaving the colored triangles open. The stippling followed the lines of the triangle (there are pics of the back of the quilt posted there too), so you can see how that would look. If you use the Hobbs 80-20 batting, you can quilt up to 8-10 inches apart. I would use a different pattern on the borders..

ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR QUILT - such pretty colors.....and a wonderful job you did piecing this too!! Please post pics when you have quilting and binding done. I would love to see it.
