My first Kindle Fire won't take a charge anymore. The charge port came loose. I could get it repaired but the service charge is more then the cost of a new one so the service guy told me to go to youtube and there is a video how to replace the charger myself. The charger can be bought from Amazon or Ebay for a few dollars. Always check youtube how to handle phone or tablet problems before giving up.
