JanRN, I bought the 'lightest' of batiks that I could, for DJ that is not happening, so it will go well with the new FW. Just a hint of blue or green in it, but mostly white. I think it will make ideal slashing in FW. Maybe something similar would work for you?
That is if I don't use it somewhere else first. LOL! Trying to get several local quilters here before the New Year and let them chose their scraps from the top of the guest bed...what does not go, will go into file 13. Its clean up time. I have been 'gonna' use them for a long number of years..time to let someone else use them..
That will make more room for new fabric in the new year....nice resolution for the new year, I think! LOL!
