I think it works fine. I wonder if you could find one that has light blue shades "mottled" with white that would simulate a blue sky with wispy clouds? I have seen fabrics like that in lines like Basic Grey. It will be a bright and cheery quilt! Can't wait to see the ished product you always make such great bargellos!!!
