When you eat all that fat-free nonsense, your brain just keeps telling you that you're hungry. Give it some good fat: as in butter, coconut oil, bacon, eggs, cheese, etc. and you will feel satisfied. You will have much less of a urge to keep eating the sweet and salty stuff. Try it for a week or two. I actually lost my longing for sweet and salty.
Babies and kids especially need the fat for brain development. Should give baby whole milk after formula at 12 months not 1% or skim. Their brain is developing.
