Are you new to FMQ?. What type of machine are you using: LA, DSM or a sit down? It is best to have the same thread in the bottom and the top so this does not show up. It is difficult to match the movement that your machine does automatically when stitching a perfect stitch. Also speeding up around curves can produce what are called eyelashes.
