I Had the Janome 10001 and ugraded to the 11000SE for the quilting Abilities but it is an expensive machine I got the 10001 at a garage sale for 500 to give to my daughter but like it so much I kept it for a year before giving it to her only then after I got my new one They do wonderful jobs quilting in the hoop and pieceing quilts together
