Default A real word challenge...

A member here, "luvstoquilt" posted something about the public's connotation of our term "scrappy" quilts as somehow not value able, or cheap because it is made of scraps. Making a scrappy quilt is much harder for some of us to do, because our OCD tendencies get in the way, and just because it is scraps, does not mean it was not just as expensive to make as controlled quilts, so I challenge all of you to come up with a term to use instead of "scrappy" that describes the quilt, and makes it sound valuable or exotic.

DH suggested "mosaic quilt".
