You can get a foot for binding for almost any sewing machine out there. I have one for my treadle. There are a couple of problems, however. The big one is that most will not handle the thickness of the quilt sandwich. The Martelli system is the only one I know of that is for quilting and is designed to handle it. The other thing is that I have never been able to get the corners to come out, either with the 'normal' binding foot or the martelli. Probably not enough patience or practice.
