My daughter is having a baby girl next months, and chose to decorate this nursery in purples and grays. I thought it was a little weird, but managed to keep my mouth shut (unusual for me!!!) So I searched my stash for purples and lilacs, and had several grays and came up with this modern style quilt. There is a free tutorial for it on Pinterest, with a title of Square Baby Quilt. But beware, there were several errors in the directions. Several of the cutting lengths were wrong. Fortunately, I only cut strips for the first block and sewed it together and caught it before cutting the rest of the fabric. After that, I double checked everything before cutting and found a few more issues. But it is pretty simple, and got it together OK.
