I just recently had that happen with a fat quarter packet I bought at Quilt Fest 2014. Last year I decided I need some more fabrics to go with it and took it with me to Festival. I was looking for it and couldn't find it anywhere. I finally decided I had lost it
I was sitting in my sewing room doing some frog stitch and looked down and in the back of one of my wire shelves that are under the extra table, there was my fat quarter pack! I had looked in those drawers but I looked from the front and they had slid down behind the other things in the drawer.
