I bought one at a quilt show, much reduced price. The second from my guild where we made a mass order for all members for a reduced price and I bought one at full price for my retreat/workshop travel notion bag. I have the Brother 1500 and the regular size one fits it. The very long machines need the long extension bar. I need one more to have one on every machine I have set up in my sewing room. They are portable but I rather not spend my time setting one up when I change machines.
