I noticed others were mentioning more about themselves than I did.
I'm married, no kids (not yet anyway
). I have three dogs and work from home as a technical writer. Most of my sewing has been for the dogs. I've made collars, jackets and jumpers for them (they're italian greyhounds so they get cold easily). I sew on a Janome HD3000 has been a pleasure. My old Kenmore and I used to have lots of fights lol. I just picked up a vintage Singer 201-2 and am restoring it to its former glory. Charming machine it is and I can't wait to use it.
