A group of us with EQ7 are meeting about once a month to exchange ideas on what we each know about the program. I purchased mine as a disc and received the manual, but one of the ladies did her's as a download. She decided to print off the manual into a notebook so she wasn't always flipping back and forth from the screen to her help screen. Also, I have the EQ design a quilt and EQ design a block books and find them REALLY helpful. They both have tutorials in each chapter for different types of blocks/quilts. At first I didn't actually walk through each tutorial, but once I did, I found it really helpful. And go back to different chapters like a reference book when I'm working in EQ. I highly recommend these books as they don't read like manuals, but are very user friendly. Also get signed up for the monthly newsletter so you get the weekly tips.
