I've been playing around with that embroidery thread and I've found if I twirl it between my fingers I can separate it into 2 thin threads. I think there's something wrong with this half of the spool. The first half worked fine, no breaking, shredding, splitting then all of a sudden there's a problem. I'll use a different spool.
