Your quilt is very happy looking. That puppy is really cute. I would not try to take it out because you would distort and even destroy the edges of the applique pieces and they would look far worse with the redo. No one but you is really going to be aware of the problem. I would guess that the problems occurred by not keeping the needle down when turning corners or pausing when stitching. I know your quilt will be loved and appreciated just the way it is.
