I agree, no more $$$ irons for me. I buy them at Walmart in the $18-$25 range and use tap water in them. If they get dropped and stop working or start spitting, I go look for a new one. No I do not have an unlimited income; as a matter of fact, most would be shocked to learn what little I live on. But some tools are just worth having ones that work properly: blades, cutting mats, seam rippers, scissors, square up ruler, quality fabric, e.g.

I believe in living with as few 'headaches' as one possibly can!
