Several have suggested Trip Around the World but that is not the same as this pattern - Trip Around the World has square sections set on point!
I am one of those who first thought it was a Trip quilt, until I found the actual pattern in my book. Its really prettier than the Trip or Many Trips quilts, because you get a lot more diamonds in the allover pattern and the rectangles add a special look to it. For those not wanting to tackle a bargello, I do think this color combo would make a beautiful Trip quilt as well. I'm so glad both ladies posted their beautiful quilts.
