Probably the same button. But is was a few years ago and replaced by SMG who had to get one from a parts machine at the time. He may have been a touch over-dramatic and I was not into the self-repair scene yet

The other thing too is that a lot of shops will tell you that the parts aren't available because they want to sell you a new machine. I just got finished replacing a needle clamp on a 1222 that sat for 13 years because the owner was told that the part wasn't available. Its fast becoming a pet peeve when SMG say that because 95% of the time, I can get the parts still. I'll fix a 1222 before I'll put comparable money (a service and parts) into a modern machine.
